God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen（世の人忘るな）はイギリスの民謡（クリスマス・キャロル）です。
『God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen』のタイトルでも知られている伝統的なクリスマス・キャロルです。
歌詞は「ご冥福をお祈りします」というフレーズから始まりますが、これは「神があなたに平安と幸福を与えてくださいますように」という意味に解釈されます。
日本では『世の人忘るな』のタイトルで知られています。

とても良い曲ですね。
ハリーポッターの中にもこの曲のアレンジが登場したようなので、暇な時に確認してみます。
