Steal Away（スティール・アウェイ）はアメリカの民謡（霊歌）です。
タイトルは『Steal Away to Jesus』とも呼ばれて、「イエス様の元へ逃れていこう」といった意味です。
歌詞は「神様が呼んでいるから逃れていこう」と語っていますが、それは神への信仰についてだけでなく、奴隷州から北部の自由州に逃れようというメッセージが隠されていると言われています。
この曲はコーラスのバリエーションで知られています。

作詞・作曲

この曲の作者はウォレス・ウィリス（Wallace Willis,1820-1880頃）とその娘ミネルバ・ウィリス（Minerva Willis) です。
ウォレス・ウィリス自身が元は奴隷でした。
